Introduction

It was initially difficult to write my own story. A part of me didn’t really want to admit to certain things that happened, nor re-live them. I’ve always been a private person and felt that exposing myself would make me feel much too vulnerable.

As I dug deeper into my soul, I realized that I needed to just get over it! If I was really sincere about my mission (at the time)—helping 1,000,0000 executives save themselves from the lives they’ve created®—then I’d better hit it as directly as I could. Why in the world was I worrying about telling my story when I had such a big task ahead of me?! If I couldn’t swallow my pride and put others before myself, then I wasn’t worthy of leading this movement. Thus this story…

Sanity prevailed and I “got over it.” I hope my story will inspire you to make a difference in the short time we have on this earth!

With input from many treasured colleagues and friends, I have refined my focus to better serve a much larger audience than just executives. We concluded that it was my duty, not just my goal, to help others make the changes that I did by sharing my journey with them. By broadcasting my “rescue” to others, I could change the lives of many. That is the overarching goal. And now we are focusing on 10,000,000 people!

I hope this message remains as noble as my intentions.

As I started to write my first book, I thought of how I can help others by relating my story. I feel completely driven to help other people not just take the path I have, but to do it even faster!

In retrospect, I could have made the changes I did years earlier and certainly without the near-death experience it took to wake me up. My goal is to provide others with a path by which they can rescue themselves faster and with less pain than I did.

Now I pass the knowledge of my journey on to you. My wish is that you take decisive action more quickly than I did. I hope I can count you as one of the “Rescued!”
